Description of 1970 Buick Skylark

Build a GS or GSX Clone. 1970 Buick Skylark 2 Door Hardtop Start with Desert Dry! This auction is featuring your next great project! This 1970 Buick Skylark 350 cui / 4 Barrel could be the pride and joy of your collection. This one was resurrected from the southern desert of Arizona and is currently sitting in Northwest Phoenix. This super solid 2 door hartop has A/C and tilt. It originally had a vinyl top that was removed and the process to eliminate it was never completed. the stainless trim still on the car. The car looks relatively complete and ready to be a trophy getting clone. The Great. This is overall a 95% complete car. You are buying this because the underbody and frame is excellent. I would also say that the body is pretty good aside from some big dents on driver's side. left front fender got wacked and right behind the driver door. The right front fender has a little dent as well. The car's paint finish is very dull and baked. but you are restoring this one anyways! You will not have to spend hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars welding in floor pans. trunk pans. etc. This one is equipped with front disc brakes. however at this time they are not operational; power steering; this is an A/C equipped car. looks complete; and it has the Tilt Steering option. The 350 V-8 / Automatic looks complete. not running but not stuck. we can't confirm if it is numbers matching. but really appears to be original motor. The Good. There are only 2 minor problems. you will see that the original vinyl top caused some pinholes around the rear window; you will also see some typical holes around the left rear fender well and a little hole starting in the rear quarter. These are very small problems to have. The front bumper is pretty good no holes. straight but needing plating. The front bumper is either out of adjustment or is tweaked a little bit. no holes but not show quality chrome. The rear bumper is pretty good no holes. pretty straight but has a ding in it but needing plating. The motor appears complete and is freed up and could have the potential to run. keep in mind the carb will most certainly need a rebuild. The transmission looks intact. The So So. Every piece of plastic or vinyl piece in the interior is absolutely baked and dusty as most desert cars end up. Everything looks to be there but you will have some work to do. The existing could be helpful for patterns. The headliner rods are there as well. Most of the stainless is good that is there. along with emblems / letters. The glass is all there. a little aged and some scratches. The windshield is cracked significantly. The "You Need to Know" This car is "non running" Tow Away Only. As Is with No Warranty. with no brakes. and unfortunately no keys. The title is a clear Utah title. marked as exempt on the mileage. however the dash reads 37. 23. The vehicle is located in Phoenix.
