Description of 1971 Buick Skylark GS 455 |
| Up for sale 1971 Buick GS 455 . I purcased car in 2005 and restored mostly my self with some help (body and paint) . As far as I know its the original engine and transmission . Some of the history I was told engine was rebiult in 1984. I went through the engine again just repairing what was needed . When I started work on engine Poston Buick was still in business it has a GS-116 camshaft and high rev lifters . The car has a Chevy rear 12bolt non posi with 308 gears . Its has automatic th400 trans . The shifter is a aftermarket hurst rachet shifter. When I got this car the original console and shifter was and still is in peices . The sifter parts console parts are included (some parts are missing). The car was originaly rosewood brown with black top and black interior. The car was also a AC car but was removed before I got the car . I changed the controls and added vent kick panels . This is a very nice running driving car I drive and take to car shows from spring to fall every year since 2011 . Please do not ask me if I can take a lower price . The starting bid is my rock bottom price that I am willing to sell. If you have 10 or less feedback do not bid without comunicating with me . If you bid than do not respond to my emails I will cancel your bid . If you do not have the funds or means to pick up the car in CT don't bid . Please ask questions if you can come and see car. CT DOMV does not issue titles on cars this old I filled out clear title so I could list car. I have had this car registered in my name since 2005 . I will fill out any paper work nessasary for you to register but please check with you states DOMV also. Thanks |
