Description of 1939 Buick Special |
| Nice older original car drives well. We went through the brakes, and installed a 5 speed t5 Borg Warner transmission. It does pop out of 1st but with the rear end gear you don't need 1st gear. We updated the rear shocks also. Has a new battery,The clutch is a centerforce diaphram 10 inch. The car drives very well at highway speeds in 5th gear. Check out the pictures; the car is rust free.
