The third generation Riviera was radically redesigned for 1971 and featured a flowing "boat tail" rear end that was a homage to the Corvette Stingray. A much larger design than before, the Riviera was slipping from its sporty image as it grew in size and weight. Thankfully the car came standard with the 455cid V8 that produced up to 265hp in GS trim and could hit 60mph in 8 seconds which was reasonable brisk. GR Auto Gallery is pleased to... present this very nice Riviera for your consideration. Finished in what appears to be Bamboo Cream, this Riviera is in very nice shape. The paint is nice and the body is very straight overall. Factory alloy wheels are present and the exterior chrome is very bright. The interior is completely stock and features comfortable tan cloth seats. The front bench is split and powered. The car also has front power disc brakes and rear drums which stop the car with authority and the car is composed on the road. It has a lot of luxury features including power windows, power front seats, air-conditioning, power locks and a radio. A 455cid V8 engine with a 4bbl carb is smooth and powerful and the car goes down the road very well. A comfortable, classic cruiser, this Buick is sure to please.
