This is a Special Edition LXXV (75th)Anniversary Buick Riviera which is 1 of only 2,899 produced in ’78. Being a 41-year-old car with only 34,885 original miles makes this car a true collector car. Some of the unique features to this Riviera is the black/silver 2-tone paint, black vinyl top, opera windows, 15” chrome rally wheels, deluxe leather interior, brushed aluminum dash panel/gauges, sport steering wheel, 403 c.i. Oldsmobile V-8 and special trim and emblems.

The exterior on this car is beautiful. It has always been stored in a climate-controlled garage and never driven in winter weather. I believe all the paint, bright-work, trim and glass on this car is original. The condition of the entire exterior is immaculate.

The interior is also all original and perfect. The lite grey leather interior is soft and free of any splits or cracks. The dash is perfect and looks great with the bright trim and black/chrome gauges. The carpet, door panels and headliner are all very nice.

Under the hood is untouched and original with no modifications. Its very clean with no major leaks or issues of any kind. These cars came from the factory with a 403 c.i. Oldsmobile V-8. For a late 70’s car, this engine runs great and has good power. The transmission shifts great and is smooth. The power steering, power brakes, A/C and cruise control all work great. The A/C has been updated to R134 refrigerant and blows cold. The tires are newer 215/75 R15 radial tires with correct white walls.

This car runs and drives like a new car and has had great maintenance since new. Never a daily driver and perfect for a collection or Sunday driver. Colorado car with no rust or corrosion.
