Let me tell you about my Cadillac, 1956 Cadillac Sedan DeVille 4 Door Hardtop 1 owner car until 2011. Man in Utah bought this car new in 1956 for his wife. When she passed in 1977 it was put in the garage until sold to guy in North Carolina in 2011. He put 15k into the car in parts, him and his friend did all the labor. The Caddy is a rust free Utah car with all original paint with 68,000 original miles. Factory paint is Mountain Laurel (pink) Power window motors have all been rebuilt and all work well as does the power antenna, speedometer, heater will blast you out of the car, the Autronic automatic electric eye for the high beams flicks them on and off like it should and yes even the clock works. Doors all work well lock and unlock, all glass is good. Check out the original headliner still like new. Fresh Built 383 stroker Chevrolet engine Eagle crank, speed pro hypereutetic pistons, eagle SIR I-Beam connecting rods, Comp cam 12-250-3 XE284H, hydraulic lifter street strip cam, holley 750 cfm electric choke carburetor Rebuilt turbo 350 built for 1000 hp but easy shifting with 3000 stall hughes converter All new 2.5 inch exhaust with 2 chamber mufflers and headman headers Gas tank has been boiled and coated, fuel sender rebuilt, and a bolt on drop down sump has been added to the tank All fuel lines are 6 AN stainless minus the two flex lines, one from the regulator to the carburetor and one from the fuel pump to the tank New aluminum radiator and overflow Heater valve rebuilt, heat works, all gauges work Rebuilt 12 bolt 1974 chevrolet truck rear end with 3.73 gears and a factory posi New performance front springs and larger performance sway bar New leaf spring bushings in the rear KYB shocks all around New New 15x7 wheel vintique steelies New Coker radial wide whites 205/75/15 New rear brakes heavy duty drums, New scarebird front disc brake kit, corvette chrome master dual master cylinder and brake booster, electric vacuum booster due to the large engine cam The car is very solid and any rust is only light surface where paint is chipped away The interior was gutted, two layers of dynamat in the floor of the car and trunk done New pink and black marine grade vinyl seats, original dash leather, door panels, and headliner New Black Daytona carpet kit from ACC Trunk is all custom and has carpeted sides and Daytona carpet in the floor Custom stereo mount in the glove box for a Kenwood Excelon head unit that controls 2 amplifiers all run through a crossover and equalizer, all vintage made in the USA vintage Crossfire CFA series all fed by 350 amp alternator and "0" gauge power wire to the rear with a 100 amp maxi fuse in the middle 15" sundown subwoofer and Kicker 6.5" speakers mounted under the dash hidden All lights inside and out work and even the auto dimming headlights have been rebuilt and work properly Steering column has been rebuilt Power steering pump has been rebuilt New 2 piece driveshaft with a carrier bearing crossmember built Car does have a cracked vent window frame on the driver side, very common issue, and I had repaired and new chrome plated one to go with the car as well as a few other small parts.
