Description of 1989 Cadillac Allante

Up for sale is my personally owned Allante that I have had in my collection for over 7 years and I have loved this car and have maintained it, however due to my storage loss the car has to be let go for the highest bidder with a NO Reserve Auction. At one tome this car was my pristine classic car but about 18 months ago the car was brought into to its present location in Sypsset Long Island for an issue with the window regulator and because it took an inordinate time, and I was going through a divorce, the car became neglected and has stayed at the same shop for 18 months, sometimes indoors but mostly outdoors and the car has become weathered. In an inspection most recently the car ran and drive fine, and all windows work, but the car will need a new battery, and the body clear coat has also been compromised. The tires, also will need to be replaced as they hold air, but they are dry rotted and the shame of it is they have nearly 90% tread life left. The pictures at the same shop show what the car was 18 months ago in the sunshine and the car now with the work that is needed and that is why I am offering her up to the highest bidder with only a $100.00 starting bid.
Mechanically the car has been maintained and the car runs and shifts well, and it also has a custom exhaust installed by the previous owner that sounds amazing. The engine and transmission leak nothing and run fantastic. The electronics work as they should and the dashboard as well, but some of the door switches work intermittently, with the seat adjusters and the door locks. The window switches and windows work well. The interior has slits in the seams and the carpets need a good cleaning. The exterior of the car is in excellent NO RUST condition and no body dents, but the grill has a little chip om the top. The top is in like new condition and looks outstanding.
Other than that the mechanics of the car are incredible and with a little TLC this car will make the new owner proud or be an excellent source for used parts as I saw one part, the rear bumper on ebay going for a whopping $1350.00. This car is a running and driving car, but will need to be towed due to the tires and battery issue, and if you have any questions please cal me at 646 499 5763.
