1963 Cadillac fleetwood 60 special, 68,000 original miles, sold originally in south carolina, and remained there until 1993, then moved to ohio, when the original owner sold it to the second owner, who brought the car to ohio, where it has been ever since, somewhere in the early 2000's, the owner died and the car was left outside until March 2020, when i purchased the car, cleaned it the best i could, new parts are brake wheel cylinders, master cylinder, brake hoses, brake lines, rebuilt the carburetor, tuned it up, spark plugs, plug wires, distributor cap, ignition coil, ignition switch, belts, upper and lower radiator hoses, thermostat, flushed out the cooling system, new carpet, this car has some rust as seen in pictures, only has a few minor holes, the worst of the rust is at the bottom of the passenger front fender, rear wheel wells are rock solid, not rusty, or covered up with body filler, like many of these 1963 cadillac's, the trunk weather stripping jam area needs rust repair as seen in pictures, the car will start but will not stay running even with your foot on the accelerator i believe that there is some problem in the engines cylinder walls, i have sprayed penetrating oil in the cylinders several times, and it has not done any good, the windows and seat do not work the fuses all tested good, the radio works and the antenna goes up and down, the vinyl top has some splits as shown in pictures, and has rust bubbling shown in pictures, the windshield has some cracks as shown in pictures, this is a good restorable car that deserves a full restoration, there is minor rust on the dash as shown in pictures, I believe that was a result of the drivers front door being left open outside for a long time, it was that way when I found the car sitting in the previous owners driveway, there is rust on the inside of the trunk lid as shown in pictures. On Aug-12-20 at 20:25:43 PDT, seller added the following information: There is rust on the underside of the trunk shown in one picture.
