1955 1st Series Advanced Design Chevrolet. 3100 1/2 ton shortbed. Yes it is a 1955. Chevrolet carried over the 1954 Advanced Design trucks through March of 1955 before the Task Force trucks were released. The 1955 First Series had one year only hood emblems (I don't have them on this hood) and was the first year for an open driveline rather than the torque tube which all 1947 to 1954 trucks had.
