Description of 1972 Chevrolet C-10 |
1972 Chevrolet 1/2 ton Short Wheel Base Fleetside Pick-UpThis is a professional built truck with no expense spared. It has a laser straight body that's been tastefully de-chromed. The door handles and vent windows have been removed and the tailgate has been filled and custom hidden latches installed. The Cadillac taillights have been expertly installed along with the custom rear rolled pan and really clean up the looks from behind. The front end has been modified and a billet grille installed along with the front bumper being brought in tight to the body. It sits on custom McGaughy 18" billet wheels with Toyo Proxesa 2. 55 45x18 rear tires and 225 45x18 front tires. The engine is a fresh LS-3 Corvette thats fully dressed and polished with everything either polished billet aluminum or chrome plated. It runs super cool because of its custom polished aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. The engine compartment is also fully detailed and painted. The flame paint job extends into the engine compartments inner fender panels. All the wiring is new and professionally done. The transmission is a fresh 700R with a mild shift kit and a overdrive lockup. These are connected to a fresh "Reel Drivelines" custom H. D. driveshaft and a 12 bolt G. M. rearend with a highway friendly 3. 50 final drive. The fuel tank is a custom 18 gallon aluminum unit that has been mounted under the bed. The interior is all glove soft leather covering a custom bench seat. A "Vintage Air" air conditioner. heat. and defroster that functions perfectly is mounted in a dash that is a custom fit with polished aluminum panels and VDO white face analog gauges that all work perfectly. The 1 piece side windows are electronic and have new seals and weather strips. The cost to build this truck would easily exceed $70K as it was all professionally done. Drive it today for only $40K and save years worth of build time. |
