Great low mileage "survivor" California black plate air coupe 427/390 w/ A.I.R.

THIS 1967 CORVETTE HAS AN INTERESTING HISTORY. THE ORIGINAL OWNER ORDERED THE CAR IN STOCKTO, CALIFORNIA FROM CHASE CHEVROLET.

HE LOVED THE CAR AND IT WAS ONLY DRIVEN TO CAR SHOWS AND TO HIS WORKPLACE WHICH WAS ABOUT 7 BLOCKS FROM HIS HOME. As the owner got up into his senior years, he car was parked in the warehouse of their business and covered . The sons told us that their dad would take their sons, is grandsons and sit in the car and act like they were out on the road and enjoying the car he had bought new!!

THERE DID COME A TIME WHEN HIS SONS THOUGHT HE SHOULD SELL IT AND THAT IS WHEN THEY PARTED WITH THE CAR AND IT WAS TRANSPORTED BACK EAST TO ITS NEW OWNER. WHEN THAT OWNER BOUGHT THE CAR IT SHOWED 5100 MILES.

THERE IS AN OIL CHANGE STICKER DATED 8 22 02 WITH THE MILEAGE AT 5358.

THE SONS OF THE FIRST OWNER BELIEVE THE TRUE MILESCOULD ACTUALLY BE WHAT NOW SHOWS AT 5512 BUT THIS INFORMATION CANNOT BE DOCUMENTED WITHOUT MORE LEGWORK. THE INTERIOR IS ORIGINAL AND LOOKS TO HAVE LITTLE USAGE, GAIN POINTING TO THE MILES POSSIBLY BEING CORRECT.WE ARE NOT GOING TO PUT THE OWNERS NAMES IN PRINT BUT MAY DISCUSS THIS WITH A POTENTIAL BUYER. WE HAVE NEARLY EVERY YEARLY REGISTRATION RENEWAL. THE SPARE TIRE LOCK IS INTACT AND WE WERE ABLE TO UNLOCK IT!!! THE CAR HAS SAFETY FLARES ALONG WITH THE JACK AND TOOLS INTACT AS WELL.
