Description of 1966 Chevrolet Corvette |
This is a CA black plate. original. no-hit. numbers matching survivor. With a L79. 4-speed. 3. 50 rear and two tops. this car has never been restored but rather. has been well maintained over the years as the extensive stack of receipts will show. Vin tag shows 467. S5109. 984AA and engine pad suffix of HT. Repainted in the original sunfire yellow sometime in the 1980s with very little body work to the front wheel well upper lip the paint is starting to get a little tired but certainly fine as driver quality. This is truly a no-hit car and the underside shows that of a no rust. damage ever CA car. Original owners manual. sales brochure and the mentioned stack of receipts along with the last 2014 CA registration are included. Maintenance receipts show such things as the engine being professionally rebuilt. blueprinted and dyno run by a well known CA shop. front and rear suspension rebuild. transmission rebuild. rear axle re-seal and the installation of stainless brakes. This past year all shocks. steering stabilizer. weatherstripping including both tops. and multiple other items were replaced. Wheels are the correct original steel wheels/hubcaps with new radials in the correct size just installed. Non-original items include the mentioned stainless brakes. silicone brake fluid. two inline fuel filters. and an AM-FM-CD player in the glove box. The only non-working items are the original radio and the clock however both are present and might function if worked on. This is a running. driving car which can be and is used most everyday weather permitting. It is titled/registered in NY in my name. no title games played here. There will be no test pilots. The car is also listed locally and may be sold at any time. This is a no-reserve auction so the first bidder could own the car and at that point the car will no longer be available for a local sale. Please. no low-ball offers. always looking for early Ford traditional hot rods. |
