Description of 1961 Chevrolet Impala |
Here is your opportunity to purchase a very desirable, ighly optioned, 961 Chevrolet Impala Bubbletop. This car is in excellent condition with no rust and believed to be 67,000 original miles. The Impala runs and drives beautifully and has ice cold factory air conditioning. The original, atching numbers 283 CI engine fires right up and purrs like a kitten. The engine suffix indicates a factory air conditioned car as well. There were optional air conditioning systems that you could order on this car. One was the underdash unit that this car has and the other was a unit that included in dash vents. The original powerglide transmission shifts effortlessly and the car has plenty of "get up and go" and will cruise at 75mph ++ all day long with no overheating issues. The interior is in great shape and is was an upgrade option for this car. The headliner is perfect. No rips or tears in the seats or door panels. Carpet is extremely nice. The chrome tissue paper shines brightly under the dash. The body has no rust or paint issues. The chrome trim is in excellent condition, he paint shines brightly and the twin antennae gives it a very sporty look. The car sports front and rear optional bumperettes. When that option was chosen, hevy includes an outside chrome hood release that looks really sharp. The undercarriage looks very original with no signs of sheet metal repair. The floors and rocker panels are very solid. The trunk is near pristine and houses a spare tire and jack. The engine compartment is very presentable. A pair of rear wheel skirts are included with the sale. I don't particularly like the way they look so I do not have them installed. All the lights and gadgets on the car are in working condition. Even the original AM radio works but it takes a few seconds to warm up (tubes, guess) I encourage you to come see it in person. Also, ny questions, lease contact me and I will do my best to answer them. I will assist in shipping the car but you have to arrange it and pay for it. No problem. If you win, lease pay. Simple rules to follow. Thanks for checking out the ad. We do not accept Pay Pal. Payment will be required within 3 days of auction end unless other arrangements have been made. Payment will be in cash or wire transfer into our bank account. PLEASE, these auctions cost time and money. If you are not 100% sure that you want the car, lease don't bid on it. I have been burnt by people in the past that give stupid excuses like their kid hit the button. Please be respectful and don't allow that to happen. Look at my feedback and see that I am an honorable guy, hope that you are too. Thanks. |
