Description of 1964 Chevrolet Impala Biscayne

Hello Ebayers, his listing is for a very clean 1964 Chevrolet Biscayne. I realize this is not an Impala, owever ebay doesn't have "Biscayne" for a category choice. I purchased this Biscayne here on ebay about a year and a half ago from Nevada. This Biscayne has always been on the west coast since new until I had it shipped over to Delaware. It was originally purchased April 4th, 964 at "Courtesy Chevrolet" in Los Angeles. Its had 3 longterm owners which all lived in California who all took great pride in ownership. The car comes with a 4" binder full of receipts dating back to the 70's which all the previous owners passed on to one another. I've added plenty of receipts to this binder...I've basically restored this car mechanically and have put about $9000 into it since purchasing.

Many pictures available upon request, ust ask...I have it.
About 1500 miles on rebuilt drivetrain.
Two known issues...surface rust in the trunk pan with no soft spots or pin holes. This was caused from a dry rotted rear windshield rubber leaking over the years. I have a new rubber that will go with the car. Haven't found anyone I trust enought to swap out the rubber. I garage the car so it's not that big of a deal for me. My plan was to sand down the surface rust on the trunk pan and respray with factory style trunk paint after installing the new rubber. These two issues are the only known issues. I've gone through this car from top to bottom and this is all that's left to address.
This car shows nicely and is a blast to drive. Very easy car to drive with power steering and power brakes, omfortable interior with great ventilation and stays cool being a lighter color, wesome visibility with no blind spots and just sips gas! Many people would've swapped out the inline 6 for a v8 but that's what I think makes this car so unique. Very rare to see an inline 6, specially one as nicely detailed as this. Plus, eaping the benefits of low cost of ownership with its fuel economy and cheaper insurance rates not having a v8! Not many people can say they can go 300+ miles on a tank of gas in their 1964 ????? and win a trophy when they stop for a car show! So, f you're looking for a dependable, uel efficient cruiser that grabs a lot of attention here's your chance to own it. More pictures available upon request. I'd like to add that this Biscayne has not had a frame off restoration and has never been completely restored. This car has always been driven and has never sat in a barn or out of commission sitting for any major length of time. It is a good looking driver quality car. Has original glass, umpers, tainless, andles, mblems etc... That being said, his car has always been well cared for and still is an 8 out of 10. This car still maintains a lot of its originality, riginal color, heet metal, loors etc... Its not a "#s matching" inline 6 as its original motor was replaced with a 1968 250 cubic inch block out of a c10. Original to the car would have been a 230 cubic inch inline 6. Not sure if the transmission is original to the car. Both the motor and transmission have been completely rebuilt. I've been getting a lot of questions concerning the "air-ride" suspension... This air bag suspension consists of 4 airbags (one at each corner) 4 switches (all independently adjustable) 3 gauges ( one gauge showing how much air pressure is in the tank, he other 2 gauges show the air pressure in the front bags and the rear bags. Those two gauges have two needles, lack and orange, range for left and black for right) one 3-5 gallon tank, ne air compressor and all 1/4" lines...this system allows you to adjust the ride height as desired. This is a "slow up and slow down" kind of system...one that is not meant to be played with constantly, p while driving and down while showing type of kit. I like the fact that this kit has 1/4" lines as I've seen some kits with 3/8"-1/2" lines that seem as though they've got hydraulics. I've seen people break suspension parts using those diameter lines. This system is very efficient and has never given me any issues. Also, verything works as it should...wipers, ash lights, xterior lights, urn signals, indows, uel gauge, peedometer, eater etc... Basically appears to be an all stock classy looking cruiser, ith a nice set of wheels, pgraded air-ride suspension, ust free with a mechanical restoration to sum it all up...
