1959 Chevrolet Impala Bubble Top Description 1959 Chevrolet Impala Bubble Top Rare Red & White Color Combination 348 cid Big Block V8 Tri-Power Rochester Carburetor's Power Steering Desirable Continental Kit Optional Dual SpotlightsMotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to offer this spectacular 1959 Chevrolet Impala Bubble Top with a 348 big-block with rare tri-power carburation! This car has been in the careful possession of the same owner for the last decade, e was an excellent steward for this classic Impala. Second generation 2-door Sport Coupe Impala's where only produced for two years. The Sport Coupe featured a thin rear roof pillar and an oversized rear window and was affectionately referred to as the "Bubble Top" . This handsome Bubble Top is finished in a two tone color combination red over white. The paint is in beautiful condition, howing very minimal imperfections. Built on General Motors B platform this Sports Coupe's body is very straight with only very minor imperfections. Both chrome bumpers still retain a brilliant luster and shine bright with only minor signs of age. Rare optional dual chrome spotlights are in excellent condition with little signs of age. Another rare option was the addition of the continental kit, hich drastically changed the appearance of the Impala. The kit included chrome horseshoe bumper bars, ire carrier, nd face plate; all of which are in great condition. This 1959 Impala shows extremely well and is sure to cause a scene where-ever it resides. Inside this Impala both bench seats are covered in red Seville grain vinyl with Mylar striped cloth inserts. The inserts feature several different shades of red and off-white which add depth to the inside. An important distinction to make on this interior is that the multi-color seats inserts are factory correct, nd in excellent shape. The material used for the inserts is no longer available in this format, nly in a reproduction form which does not replicate the original look and feel. Both bench seats are in excellent condition with very minor signs of use. The new carpet is in excellent condition and shows no sign of wear, ame goes for the headliner which is correct and original. The dashboard is color matched to the body panels and looks excellent with no cracks or color fade. The dash houses a set of original gauges, ith the exception of the water temperature gauge and a classic looking, igital AM/FM/Cassette stereo. The interior looks just as wonderful as the exterior of the car! Under the hood, ou will find a clean and detailed engine bay. The Impala is powered by a correct 348 cubic inch V8 engine with Tri-Power Rochester carburetors. Mated to the engine is an automatic transmission. It is equipped with power steering and rides on original factory wheels with correct wheel covers and wide white wall tires. What are you waiting for? This 1959 Chevrolet Impala is an excellent example of the fine craftsmanship that came out of General Motors back in the late 50's and would fit in perfectly with any classic car collector's stable.
