Description of 1958 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 |
This is a 1958 Chevy Bel Air 2 owner car with 43,000 miles. This is an older frame off restoration. This car was totally disassembled when it was restored, ncluding all glass removed as well. My reserve is a mere fraction of what that costs to do. The metal on this car is unbelievable and is all original floor and trunk. It has a fresh1967 327ci engine with an automatic transmission. Both were rebuilt when the car was done. This is a factory Positraction Bel Air, nd still has the original posi rear end. The motor runs great. You turn the key and it starts and idles with a couple pumps. Brakes are like new. It goes down the freeway at 75 MPH with no vibrations. Does not overheat at all, adiator was recored. The dual exhaust sounds great. Transmission is tight and smooth. The interior of the car is in beautiful shape. That was also redone when the car was redone. An Impala headliner was used in the restoration. Dash looks very very nice. The firewall was stripped and painted with the car apart. The frame was taken off the car as well. I have many pics documenting the frame off restoration in 2001 This car is original metal and is very very solid.
