1966 Corvette Rare Color Combination Original Paint & Interior Matching Numbers

So we are extremely happy to present to you this 1966 Corvette. The seller tells us that the interior color combination is very rare, nd it believed to be one of only nine with this color combination and was a special order. It is the seller's understanding that this combination was only available as a special order.

This beautiful 1966 Corvette repainted with the black paint as it came from factory and original interior is a numbers matching car with the L-79 327 350HP motor, -21 close ratio 4 speed transmission and 4:11 rear end. It has a new clutch, ower steering, ower antenna, ouble master cylinderbrakes and transistorized ignition. The convertible top is new and in great condition. When the original owner sold it to the second owner, he second owner had it repainted in blue. Shortly thereafter, he original owner bought the car back and had the car repainted back to its original black. Currently that is the paint that is on the car which is looking very attractive with only a few nicks and cracks that are hard to detect according to the owner. Also note that the car was ordered as a soft top delete and the car does have a new convertible top.

Yes, his car has everything going for it, ncluding the fabulous knock-off wheels. Even the spare tire is the original gold-line tire. The seller tells us that the car is generally in top condition and that everything on the car is working.

The seller told us that the 50 year paint still looks very good but what the pictures do not show is that there is some spider webbing and chips in the paint but overall looks fabulous for the original paint. We have seen many Stingray Corvettes but a black car with a basically white interior with blue trim is absolutely stunning. We do believe that this is a rare opportunity for any Stingray buyer or collector. This is a most unusual Corvette that we are certain will create a certain amount of attention at any Corvette show.

We believe that the owner has set a very reasonable reserve and that the new owner will be very delighted to have this car for the rest of the summer and fall season. For those of that live in year around warmer climates - you can show off the car year round.
