Description of 1961 Chevrolet Impala

Selling my 1961 Chevy Impala Bubbletop 2DR. Red/Red.
It starts right up every time. It has the 283 engine with the automatic powerglide transmission. Previous owner stated the powertrain is original with 76k miles. I have some documentation to help support this. Car runs and drives nice. Gets a lot of attention everywhere I go.
It has drum brakes all around. The wheel cylinders and brake shoes are new.
One of the best things about this car is that you can drive it around town and take your time to restore it.The car is complete and all the trim is there. The body is straight but there is rust. The rocker panels will need to be replaced. The lower portions of the rear quarters and fenders will need metal work. The passenger door will need to be re-skinned or replaced. There's rust outside of the trunk under the rear bumper.
The trunk and floor pans are solid.
The interior looks original but it's worn. Glass is in good shape.
Still has the original spare tire in the trunk. I have the wheel skirts too and they will be included.
Clean Bubbletops are selling for $30k plus and here's your opportunity to buy one with low miles and fix it up your way.
