Description of 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 BelAir 2 Door

1957 Chevy 2 door sedan project. No Reserve!

Vin number: VC57J169019

Previous owner painted the car prior and then wet sanded it but never finished.I did some polishing on it and some places look better than others. The roof looks the best out of any section. original color can be seen on trunk floor and firewall and looks to be the coral color option.

Needs some work to get going again, ut it is a great place to start because you get a 327 out of a 66 impala and 350 trans. Both were said to have been rebuilt and when looking at the plugs it looks as if they have never been sparked. There is no rust on the car either. there is surface rust underneath the car, ut no cancer that I have seen.

I got the car with the intent of putting it all together and just driving it! It needs throttle and trans linkages hooked up, xhaust needed, nd cooling system and other pieces needing to be done. It is pretty much all there body and trim wise, ou just have to buy a few things to make her run, r what I figured a lot would do is take out the current drivetrain and put something else in.

Just put back on the front end body panels so I could list it, o everything is on there, ut not adjusted perfectly. It is on there to see it all as a complete car and should be checked after purchase.

All of the body appears to be original except for the front passenger fender. I was told by the owner before me that he was loading it on a car trailer and hit the car fender on the trailer fender and damaged the car's fender. He cut out and replace the small section with a section from another Chevy's fender. The fender lines are good, nly thing seems to be that it is about 3/4inch longer than needed at the rear corner of the replace section. The driver side rear fin looks to have had something push on it a little bit and that is probably the only spot that needs some work done to it as you will see in the pictures.

The interior is all new and cost the previous owner a pretty penny. Headliner has one spot near the back window, ut otherwise the interior is very nice. As you will see in the pictures all the window trim pieces are included. The windows are in good shape and roll up and down. The doors shut nicely, believe all the seals were gone through recently.

There is a new master cylinder on the car but it appears the previous owner never bled it so the brakes do not currently work. They are hooked up, ut could probably use some different lines as the front brake line is routed in front of the engine and looks ugly.

Fuel lines need to be ran as does the exhaust.

The wheels are Slots from the 60s which have BFG tires on them that are good as rollers only. They look to have broken belts on them. But for just sitting in the garage they are perfect.

There are a bunch of parts included as you will see in the following pictures like another hood if you don't like the louvered one, hough the blue on has been drilled for hood pins. Also included but not pictured is a radiator that was supposedly in there at one point in time.

It is a really cool Chevy, 7s are the coolest of them all. I bought it with high hopes of putting it all back together and having a sweet car. I however need money for school and can't afford to do the things this car deserves to have done.

Can deliver for small fee within 200 miles after car has been paid for.

Ask questions if you have them!
