This auction is for a 1957 Chevrolet Belair 4 Door Sedan. Has the original 283 V-8, 4 BBL with Automatic Power Glide Transmission. Both motor and transmission were rebuilt a few years ago. The car runs and drives very nicely. Has had recent brake work, new fuel tank and new muffler. Also a new set of Coker Classic Radial Wide White Wall Tires for better handling and a smoother ride. The car was originally from Texas so the body is in exceptional shape. No rust or rot. The under carriage is all original. Nice solid floors, frame, braces, etc. Outer body shell is nice and straight down both sides. Doors open and close nicely. All Windows roll up and down well. Good Tight car. There are a few bubbles starting down low on the bottom of both front fenders and a couple of little bubbles on the corners of both rear door bottoms. Very minor. I did notice that there must have been a dent on the left side rear dog leg and was repaired. There is a small paint crack there and one on the rear wheel well. That's it. Trunk, Tail Pan and upper Wheel Houses good and solid. All the stainless is in very nice shape. Appears that the front and rear bumpers and also tail light housings were re chromed. Very nice shape. The grill bar and upper chrome show a little age. The interior was redone not to factory specs but looks great. All lights, electrical s, etc work fine. This car originally had A/C with tinted glass. The controls and vents are still in the dash but no components under the hood. Just a nice solid driver quality 57 Chevy that you can get in and enjoy now.
