Description of 1972 Chevrolet Camaro

Trapp Motorsports is offering this amazing 1972 Chevrolet Camaro SS "Clone". This is one of Jereme's personal drivers and looks absolutely stunning in this very rare White/White color combination. This color combination was only available for a very short time during the 72-73 production years. Unfortunately 1972 was also a "strike year" and over 1,100 Camaros were crushed after the strike due to not being able to meet new seat belt, mission and bumper restrictions. The result was one of the lowest production years ever for the Chevrolet Camaro.
This Camaro is an eye catcher and crowd favorite at nearly every show and event we attend with it. The paint is gorgeous and one of the brightest whites we have ever seen. The white interior is almost all new and is the neatest feature of this car. The list of new interior parts include new rear seats, ew upper door sills, ewer white door inserts, ew upper and lower rear side panels, ew center console, ew rear dash cover and new carpet. While replacing the interior we found the previous owner had the entire interior cabin sound proofed with Dynamat to reduced noise and vibration which was a great feature. We recently added the 17" Boss 338 wheels and BFG Comp 2 tires and they have less than 150 miles on them. The original black mag "Z-28 Style" wheels are included in the sale. The chrome bumper and front bumperettes are also brand new. As far as we can tell this was a Missouri car and still has the Missouri emissions sticker from the 80's in the windshield. It appears to be an all original sheet metal car with only the bottoms of the rear quarters replaced some time ago. The trunk pan and rear tail light panel are also nice and solid unlike many of them due to the tail lights leaking over the years.
When we purchased this car we had it inspected and serviced. We removed the undercoating only to find all the floorboards still covered in the original red oxide primer it left the factory with over 43 years ago. We then had it re-undercoated just to keep it preserved as it was before. We had a tune-up performed, eplaced the spark plug wires with brand new MSD wires, eplaced the valve cover gaskets, hermostat gasket, nd had all the fluids and filters checked and replaced as necessary. We replaced a portion of the fuel lines and had an in-line fuel filter installed. Our technician also adjusted and tuned the carburetor and added a Mr. Gasket fuel pressure regulator and it runs much better now with the Holley carb. This car runs great and sounds even better!
The flaws on this Camaro seem to be the typical flaws we encounter on all the 1st. and 2nd generation Camaros. The corners of the dash show a little rust and the dash pad is slightly lifted from the sun. The dash pad is fairly inexpensive and easy to replace. The headliner and visors also need to be replaced. The air conditioning components and brackets were removed for sandblasting and refinishing and have not been reinstalled. They will also be included in the sale. The radio does not work. This is not a numbers matching show car...but it is probably one of the NICEST and better than "driver quality" cars you will ever find!
