Description of 1964 Chevrolet El Camino |
| This car has been 90% restored. it is a daily driver but has only been driven a thousand miles since motor was installed. Front suspension has been completely done a few years ago and is very good except for the polyurethane control arm bushings squeak a bit. it is lowered with Eibach lowering springs 2". Paint is 98 GM blue and is perfect except for a couple runs along bottom that can be removed with color sanding. hard to see. Letters on tailgate have been shaven and front badges on fenders for a clean look. Motor is in the 400s horsepower wise but never had it dyno tested. traction is what keeps this car from turning 10 second quarter mile runs. Never been on track or abused. this car has been well taken care of since I've been a mechanic all my life and it has been my life long project i never thought I would ever sell.
