Description of 1971 Chevrolet C-10 |
For auction is my 1971 Chevrolet C-10. As you can see, t is a short wide bed with alot of options. It has been my daily driver for the last 8 months but we have to move up to something more family friendly. The truck was from OK and fully gone through about 10 years ago. I got it out of a garage 2 years ago and began the freshening up and modernizing. The body and frame are solid and I get lots of attention when I am driving. It has the right sound and stance that everyone seems to like. My loss is your gain but this is a truck you can get into and roadtrip (I have gone over 400 roundtrip) or take it off the road and bring it up to perfection. Here are the details: Engine: Blueprint Engines 355 Small Block Crate Motor, nstalled last spring, as dyno paperwork for 395 HP, ummit PN BPP35512CT1 Pack some muscle into your ride with these BluePrint Engines GM 355 C.I.D. 375HP base crate engines. These engines are built and balanced to create a smooth running strong mill that will be perfect for you street rod, ickup or muscle car. In addition, t has Quick Fuel QFI fuel injection on an aluminum dual plane air gap intake. Has long tube headers and dual exhaust with Flowmasters. The gas tank was relocated to under the bed and fills through the wood bed floor with stainless strips. The fuel tank is a Tanks Inc 16 Galwith in-tank high pressure fuel pump and proper return lines from the firewall mounted adjustable regulator. The EFI is great in any weather and completely eliminates stalls and warm up issues. All of the EFI controls are mounted on a custom panel on the firewall. The transmission is a 2004r build by Toby's Transmissions in Tampa FL as a Stage 2 to hold the additional power. It cruises down the highway at low RPMs due to the .67 overdrive. The shifter is the factory column with updated indicator and Lokar linkage. And it has fresh U joints on the one piece drives haft. The brakes are power, ith a new booster/master cylinder installed over the summer along with a full redo of the front brakes. Has new rotors, ads, heel bearings, nd calipers up front. Inside it has 2005 Silverado buckets with afold down console. They fit great and really enhance the ride. The console lid is broken but these are available online. I just haven't gotten to it. It has factory door panels and all the trim for the headliner. It is not currently installed but will be included. It is a factory Air Conditioned cab butthe OEM system was removed in preparation for Vintage Air. The AC controls are included and I will throw in all the OEM parts if the buyer wants them. It has a Lecarra steering wheel with a billet adapter on the GM tilt column. The dash is a factory tach dash as well. The window tint was professionally done last November. It has Electriclife power door locks. It has a newheadlight switch and wiper switch. The body is in good shape but not perfect. Please see the pics for details. The Red and White in Cheyenne trim looks great to me and gets lots of compliments. It has 2007 Jeep headlights and new tail light lenses. It has chrome15x8 GM Ralley wheels with derby caps and 275/60-15 BFGs that installed last November. They are hardly worn. I had the ball joints replaced this summer. I hope to have covered everything, lease ask questions. Thank you for looking and bidding. |
