1951 Chevy Custom Pickup LT1 4L60-E Automatic Working A/C PS PDB Sunroof

This is an older custom build which consists of 1951 Chevy pickup body placed onto an 1995 Chevy Caprice Super Sport chassis.

Body interiorincludes leather bench seat, ooden steering wheel, loor mounted gear shift. Sunroof and digital gauges from Super Sport were retrofitted and reused. Everything works including the after market A/C.

Body exterior includes a stainless steel diamond floor in bed. Black paint has red flakes and looks good from 10 feet or more but has several nicks and scratches. I was planning on repainting it two tone black and maroon to match interior accents.

Mechanical systems all function as designed. LT1 engine and 4L60-E transmissionwere rebuilt ten years ago (approximately 20,000 miles ago) Shifts are hard and tight. Truck has lots of get up and go! Four wheel disc brakes have relatively new pads. Truck stops on a dime.Power steering is tight and has reduced turning radius. Silvertown radial whitewall tires are brand new in last year.

This truck drives like a car (which it is mechanically) but looks like a classic pickup (which it truly is). I have owned this truck for several years and try to drive it at least once a week. I simply need the storage space for a new project.

This is a very drivable vehicle. It is a great looking vehicle as is and could be a show truck with a new paint job. I have sold several vehicles on EBay with 100% feedback.
