Description of 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210

55 Chevy Hard top. Paint is six coats of candy apple red over a gold base. Top is India Ivory with a Cadillac pearl. Fiberglass tilt with Offenhauser scoop. Engine is a 68 Corvette 327, 0 over. Motor built by "Ohio" George Montgomery. Hooker headers. totally rebuilt Muncie 20, ll new clutch. New Hurst shifter. 57 Olds axle, otally rebuilt, rum brakes, :23 gears. Front axle is a 48 Chevy truck axle and springs, hromed by Dayton Wire. Disc brakes in front. Front of frame is stock and hasn't been cut up. Stock suspension could be put back on if someone wanted. New aluminum Halibrand wheels. Fronts narrowed by Weldcraft in Detroit. Car is on their site. Hurst tires in front and back. Car was originally tubbed, detubbed it a couple years ago. Old roll cage with tonneau cover in back. Door glass is not installed but I have it. Most of the stainless is new on the car. No back seat, o power steering, o air conditioning, o wipers. This is an old hot rod. Dixco Garlits tach in pictures is not included, ut I have a new nostalgia tach that goes with it. Pictures show different sets of wheels over last couple years. I still have the black steel wheels if interested.
