1977 El Camino Classic - Blue/Silver - Runs Well - No Rust Texas Vehicle!

1977 El Camino Classic

This 1977 El Camino Classic runs well and drives straight down the road at 65 mph.

The brakes operate well and stop straight and firm as they should.

The body is very strait and is a typical rust free car (in Texas all its life).

The transmission seems to shift well.

The color is blue and silver and the vehicle was re-painted 4 or 5 years ago.

The paint is shiny and looks nice driving down the road; but, as the usual nicks and dings.

The interior and engine compartment are clean; but, how some age.

The seat was redone a few years ago in a matching blue velour fabric.

The power windows, ower steering and power door locks all work.

The wheels and white wall tires are in good shape with 90+% tread left.

There is a spray on bed liner (thick quality as seen in the photos) over a rust free bed.

The V8 with dual exhaust has a nice mellow sound, ot too loud.

The air conditioner blows cold and the heater seems to work.

New shocks were installed about three years ago.

The engine was rebuilt by a prior owner about 6 years ago. Not sure if it's original or a replacement; but, elieve it's a 350 cu in with nice power.

Now, he BAD:

There are a couple of noted paint chips on the tailgate and on the front fiberglass nose area (see photos).

There is a factory radio; but, t does NOT play. Not sure why.

The fuel gauge is NOT operating.

The windshield has a crack straight up/down in the center next to the antenna wire. It's almost unnoticeable.

There is some cracking in the fiberglass apron around the front bumper on the passenger side.

The rubber insert for the side moldings is missing.

The dash has a nice looking cap put on by a previous owner which does show some imperfections.

The odometer shows 107,600 miles. I've only had the vehicle for a few years; so, he true mileage might be different.

Overall, t's a good dependable driver.

It's currently registered and inspected in Texas.
