PLEASE READ EVERYTHING..... ESPECIALLY MY TERMS! This is a pretty rare El Camino...it was parked in 1976...and sat for nearly 40 years. It was optioned with 327 275 horse engine, owerglide transmission, nbsp;tilt column, ir conditioning, ower windows, ower steering, ower brakes, wo speed wipers and a few other niceties. The engine is the original numbers matching unit that the car was born with. The car was built in the later part of July in 1966 and the engine was assembled on the 11th of July and is an EC code...327 275 hp, uto trans with AIR. One thing that stands out about this El Camino is that it is very original. All the smog components are in place, riginal air cleaner, mog rails etc. Still has its original radio and steering wheel. Never hot rodded. Original red on red El Camino. Mileage on the odometer is 10,000 and change...im sure its 110,000.....couldnt be more and still be this original. In about 1969 to about 1971..the wheels and tonneau cover you see..were added. I believe its the only non stock items the car has. I put some good used tires and kept the wheels that were on it..I thought it was only fitting. It also looks to have had some paint work on the hood that is cracking...and I think it was repainted. It also has had the drivers side quarter panel replaced..probably about 40+ years ago..so you know it was a GM NOS panel. Paint looks good for a driver from a distance but it needs paint..unless youre into the patina craze like many are..including myself. Only rust through I have seen is the lower edge of the drivers fender and underneath the hood near the front. There is also a small hole below the drivers taillight. Has some dings and a few small dents..note the small one on the roof. Glass is all nice..and most of the electricals seem to want to work. Remember its been sitting 40 years...you might have to clean some contacts etc. Has a new fuel tank, ending unit, ubber fuel lines, uel pump, ater pump, lternator, nd master cylinder. All the parts that came off the engine are included..the alternator for example was its original unit. Engine runs well and im sure could run even better with some tune up time. The ac comoressor and a few brackets for it are in the bed with the original jack...and the wheelwell moulding not on the car because its damaged. Car need a little tinkering yet but its very close to being turn key dependable. Does run and drive now...will continue to improve it while the auction runs. Have some new brake parts to include as well. I added a new repro rear bumper...but the original one is in the bed. The picture showing the bed is when I had just hosed it off.
