Up for auction is the ulitmate off road, ock climming, nd survival vehicle. This 1985 CUCV M1009 Military Blazer was built to take the punishment in any environment. UNDER THE HOOD the power comes from a GM 6.2 Military J Diesel Engine diesel with a brand new Banks Sidewider turbo kit. The complete kit was installed along with new updated exhaust system. Dual heavy duty alternators supply the power to the dual Odyssey batteries to handle the 24/12 volt hybrid electric system . A freshly built heavy duty transmisson with overdrive was installed to transfer power to the heavy duty rear end. All straight axle suspension makes this a rock climmer as well. Fuel is not a concern as the 35 gallon main tank carries plenty........however, custom 17 gallon auxilary aluminum tank was fabricated with a dedicated pump and float switch that will keep the main tank supplied with fuel when it gets low.
