Here we have a 1987 Camaro IROC-Z that spent it's entire life in sunny, rust free Arizona. It looks like it's never been in an accident either. All the body panels have the GM vin tags on them that match the car. The sheet metal is dry, rust free, and solid. A great candidate for restoration or collecting. These are getting harder to find in this shape. Car is pretty original and because of the Arizona sun paint is pretty badly worn. However, the interior has been reupholstered at some point and is in very nice condition. As mentioned above, it will need a headliner and sunvisors(they are gone). The car has a nice blue tooth CD player with hands free connection, working AC, power windows,(sometimes working) power locks, and power hatch release. It is a 5.0L V8 automatic which looks like it has been rebuilt at some point, however I do not have any records. It runs well, no smoke, no overheating, just passed emissions(brand new catalytic converter). The Camaro also has a nice flowmaster exhaust, which sounds excellent. There is some play in the steering and could use alignment. Recent work completed:
- Front struts
- New hood louvers
- New rear brakes and rotors
- New Catalytic converter
- Newer Flowmaster
- New thermostat and coolant flush
- Newer battery
- New tires
The car runs and drives pretty well for the age. Has good power, shifts well, stops well, AC works, and rides pretty solid. I drive it to work every day and it cruises down the road just great! With new paint and a little TLC this could be a future collector car. Let me know if you have any questions! Thanks for looking.
