Description of 1948 Chevrolet Other Pickups Pro Street Pickup |
1948 Chevy Pro Street Project...back halved with 2x3 square tubing, monster 4 link with adjustable coil overs, narrowed rear (with 3.73 gears) with 15" wide Pro Stars and new tires all around. Box is narrowed 6" and rear fenders widened 3"a side. New wood bed kit with chrome pop up gas flap and aluminum fuel cell as well as a custom fit tonneau cover. Tailgate is shaved and the rear roll pan houses 66' tail lights. Rear aluminum wing mounted on bed rails. Cab has been channeled and doors are shaved, remote and suicide with double latched bear claws. Interior is all handmade metal fabrication as well as the dash. New 21 circuit wiring harness installed. New gauges, power windows, killer stereo, custom headliner, chrome tilt column, chrome boomerang steering wheel and 4 point harnesses finish off the one of a kind interior. The hood has been mildly decked, front fenders widened 3" and custom made inner fender wells. The motor is a blueprinted, balanced 383 BB with milled heads, billet dist and puts out 400 hp with the long tube headers. A built 727 Torqueflite is mated to the 383. Front halved with C2 Camaro with new disc brake package installed. Twin electric fans and aluminum rad cool down the fluids. New tires, weatherstrip, glass, headlight buckets and numerous new misc parts. Bodywork can be blocked out further and painted but why...this looks sick as it is ! This was my labour of love but unfortunately, health reasons has forced me to exit my passion of custom hotrod building. ALL transporting and brokerage is the buyers responsibility. Reserve price barely covers the material costs so please, bid freely. The fine people allowed me to place the ad in NY for the US market...Thankyou to them :). On Jul-24-16 at 07:51:26 PDT, seller added the following information: Just to let bidders know, the truck is to be picked up in Canada. Good thing is, you gain .31 on the dollar. Good Luck bidding :) |
