Vehicle Overview
Victory Red, 1967 Chevrolet Corvette 427 Big Block Roadster, M-21 Muncie 4 Speed, 4.11 Positraction, C2, Midyear, Sting Ray Convertible!
Same owner since 1988, she has been cared for these past 28 years by one local Georgia owner. Very nice condition with a lot of originality. An iconic American Sports Car, she was not born with a 427, but she is definitely all "BIG BLOCK" now! Mated to this powerhouse is a 4-Speed Muncie M21 Transmission connected to a 4.11 Positraction Rear End and Big Block coil springs. This baby runs, drives, handles and sounds great, exactly the way a C-2 mid-year Big Block Corvette should! Everything mechanically is sound, solid and works as it should, including all the gauges. New windshield, New soft top, rebuilt front end (new bushings, 427 springs, etc.), reproduction bolt-on aluminum wheels, new starter, new transmission and rear differential fluids. Rebuilt and Restored in 1990, then in 2010 her exterior was re-painted for the purpose of a color change from the original Silver to the current, stunning, Victory Red with contrasting black striping on her reproduction "Stinger" hood. The stinger hood was featured only on 1967 big block equipped 'vettes. Her striking paint scheme gives her a Sporty appearance to go with her Powerful engine. Her high quality paint finish is excellent! The body is strait and true with no stress cracks at all. The fiberglass is clean and smooth on the underside of the fenders with no obvious repairs or rust issues ever. Most of the chrome, door handles, emblems and door glass are original. The undercarriage is solid. All of the suspension and bushings appear to still be in like new restored condition. Her restored upholstered black interior and new canvas top look great. She has a correct steering wheel, original AM/FM Push button Radio that works, Heater/Defroster, New Reproduction Electric Clock and Original, Functioning 6 pod Instrument gauges. The clock, radio, gas gauge and all instruments work! Some of her other features include the emergency brake in the center console, an energy absorbing steering column, a thick dash pad, mushroom shaped accessories knobs, dual circuit brake master cylinder, break-away mount rearview mirror, four way emergency flashers and a "freeway lane change" function on the directional signal switch. Pop open her hood to get a look at her non-original Big Block Chevy 427 cu.in., 390hp V8 with a Competition Cams camshaft and Stock 427/390 BBC cylinder heads. She has an Edelbrock Torker II 2-0, High Performance Intake Manifold, a Holley 750 cfm, type 4160 double pumper and stock 1967 BBC exhaust manifolds. When you add in Power Steering, Independent Front and Rear Suspension, 4 wheel Disc Power Brakes, and the convertibles lower center of gravity, You get Exceptional Handling and Performance!
