Description of 1977 Chevrolet Suburban Silverado

I am second owner of this immaculate 1977, 4WD Suburban with working A/C. 400 V8, Turbo 400automatic transmission, 58k actual miles; all original, Engine and transmission are strong and trustworthy, one exteriorrepaint prior to my ownership, paint is excellent. All instrument gauges work. The interior has 3rd seat, Silverado package, AC, Tilt, Cruise, Power rear window, Warn Lock-out hubs, 4.11 posi rear end, Heavy-half trailering package. All carpeting and seat fabricis original and in excellent condition, as is the factory GM radio that is an AM/FM/CB transmitter/receiver. Wheels and chrome are original and ingood shape, the tires are oversized and I believe the drop hitch and running boards are aftermarket. It is licensed and titled here in Texas.

Out of an abundance of caution, I replaced the powersteering pump, water pump, alternator, master brake cylinder and brake cyclinders & shoes, and had radiator rodded prior to my recent vacation trip from San Antonio, TX to Albuquerque, NM and excursions for over 2,500 miles in 100 degree weather with no problems and would feel confidantdriving this vehicle from coast to coast. It has nine seat belts, five ashtrays (no cigarette burns), three rows of seats and towing package. I HAVE STRANGERS APPROACH ME WITH COMPLIMENTS EVERYTIME I DRIVE IT AND WHILE GETTING GAS OR ROLL DOWN THEIR WINDOWS TO GIVE A THUMBS UP TO ME AT TRAFFIC LIGHTS !!!!! I am soon to be an empty nester and no longer need the vehicle, but will always have fond memories of all the attention I and compliments I have received.

FYI -- I once removed the rear seat and folded down the middle row in order to fit 18 bales of hay...
