Garage find! We got this from the original owner's wife. Her husband had bought it new it 1949 and then passed away in 1952. His wife didn't have a license and it sat in a garage in Oregon till 2006. I completely rebuilt the brake system, fuel lines where cleaned and blown out with a new fuel tank installed. I still have the original 216 engine for the car but I left water in the block over winter and cracked the block. It can be brazed because the 216 has a vented radiator cap. For now I have a 1956 Blue Flame 235 in the car. I was told it is the 125HP version. It is nice because of the extra power but it has a full pressure oil system, the 216 is a splash and spray oiling system. The car runs and drives but it still needs gone through to be more of a daily driver. I have so many extra parts for the car I could fill up the bed of a pick up truck. You would get all of these parts with the purchase of this car. Total value of the car and all the extra parts is around $8500, so this is a steal! I no longer have the time or money to invest in this the way I want to, but I hope someone can enjoy it as much as I have. I know I am leaving a bunch of stuff out so if there is any questions please feel free to ask. Thank you so very much for the interest and time to look at my ad, have a great day. The buyer is fully responsible for shipping and I will work with the shipping company as much as I can.
