Vehicle was previously owned and purchased in an estate auction from "Thunder Head Ranch" of Albany County, Wyoming. It must have been running when retired because gas was bad. To get it running all that was necessary was providing clean fuel and a battery. I have been driving this truck almost weekly for 3 years. The battery is 3 years old, thecarburetor was rebuilt, tires are good with slight weather checking on side walls. I installed a 30 gallon fuel tank and mounted it on the truck bed to get the gas smell out of the cab common for these old trucks, I did retro fit fuel sending unit to work with original gauge.Vacuumisgood on engine and it runsextremely well on regular gas with slight sputter when idling. I have used this truck as a daily driver off and on over the past. Top (comfortable) speed is 40 to 45 mph. Most 3800's I have seen havedual-liesbut this onedid not, I am not sure if it was changed somewhere along the way or not. LMC Truck was my source for most of the parts replaced or my local NAPA.
