Note: This 1979 Corvette is still the original factory Dark Green color which is one of the rarest of the color choices for that year as far as production numbers go. There were only 2,426 made in this Dark Green color which is the 2nd rarest color with the rarest being Bright Yellow (2,357 made). This compares to the most popular color Black (10,465 made) so the Dark Green color is over 4 times as rare as the black 1979 models. And comparing overall numbers the Dark Green model was only 4.5% of the total 1979 Corvette production.
