1953 Chevrolet Truck 5 Window Short Bed -3100- Has the correct 6 cylinder. It has been in storage for many years. The motor turns over freely. With a detailed tune up and changing all the fluids and doing some odds and ends, I think she should run. The owner I bought it from several years ago said it ran before he parked it, he sounded like a straight up honest guy. Has the correct 4 spd on the floor. This Truck is a original New Mexico Truck - Dry Climate.
The body looks to be in pretty fair shape, some small dings and dents, nothing to major. Has some rust holes in the floorboards around were your feet rest. The passenger and Drivers side down low in front of the door on the cab has some small rust holes, very easy fix.The frame looks fine, just shows age. The cab corners are in good shape and you can see all of this in the detailed pictures I have posted. The paint colors are very old with a lot of patina. Has a original wood floor bed and the wood is pretty old and dry rotted from very old age.
The interior looks to be all original and needs to be restored from age, even has the original radio, steering wheel, gauge, bench seat and more.
Looks to have it's original rims with hubcaps and spare tires.
This 1953 Chevrolet Truck 5 Window Short Bed 3100 is a great desirable Truck to fix up. You could keep it all original with the patina and get it running or Pro-Tour, Rat Rod, Custom, back to original or whatever your liking is.
