Description of 1969 Chevrolet C10 |
This is a top-of-the-line 1969 Chevrolet C10 CST pickup with slick two-tone paint, big block power, and plenty of upgrades inside and out. A vintage truck of this quality doesn't even usually last long enough in our showroom to read this whole listing.Black is an easy color to love, but it can only be applied to the best vehicles, because no imperfections can hide from it. It's even tougher for a pickup because they've typically spent part of their life as a workhorse. So, it's worth taking a few moments to enjoy how amazing this shade of midnight looks on this Chevy truck. But it's not just the black that has your attention. These C10s were known for their great two-tone appearances, and while most did it with pastel colors, this mean machine matches the black with a sort of dark gunmetal gray that's just as slick. CST (Custom Sport Truck) was the top trim that would be replaced by the Cheyenne in later years, and that means plenty of brightwork beyond the big bumpers. It includes the upper and lower body side accents that act as a dividing line for the two colors. The reason why this truck looks so amazing is because it's part of a full frame-off restoration, and in the process it got plenty of custom touches, too. This includes the cowl induction hood, billet grille, new blonde wood in the truck bed, and bright Pacer chrome wheel on an aggressively lowered suspension.Inside is a nice mix of performance and comfort, all set in a muscle car-like deep black. Driver and passenger get individual leather buckets. The dash has a classic knob-style AM/FM radio that's actually a modern tuner with an aux input for the most modern music players. There are even provisions for air conditioning. But the part you'll like the best is the classic Chevy performance three-spoke steering that's mounted on a tilt column for the perfect fit. Ahead of that is a full set of gauges, and the tack prominently in the center signals to you there's something special under the hood.Grab you sunglasses before popping the hood because there has been some serious money invested in here. Not only do we almost dare you to try and find another component that can be polished on this powerplant, but also the whole engine bay has been painted in the super-slick metallic gray used on the exterior. Sure this looks show-ready with the tidy setup and hidden wires, but when you look beyond the flash, you'll see the substance of an amazing 427 cubic-inch big block. It's been enhanced with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock intake, so you know that Flowmaster dual exhaust has a seriously wicked rumble. This is a big power pickup, but there's much more to this restored classic. It has a newer aluminum radiator to keep the V8 cool in all situations, and the TH400 three-speed automatic is stout enough to handle the power, while also remaining tame for everyday driving. It's a similar story for the trailing arm rear suspension, which helps makes these Chevys hold the road better than most other vintage pickups. This is great for a better ride, and a welcomed component to get the most out of a high horsepower truck. Add in power steering, front disc brakes, and modern Goodyear Wrangler tires at all four corners, and this is a C10 that's good for more than just the weekends. This is one pickup that has had a lot invested to make, and keep it looking beautiful and we have the receipts to prove it. It's a muscle car eater, and so much more. That's why you know you need to hurry up to grab this deal. Call today!! |
