Description of 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS |
For Sale is a 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS, I have had this car for around 8 years and have slowly picked away at it, I got it repainted, replaced a bunch of the rubber seals, I've cleaned of some of the trim. I set the car up as a fun driver it isn't a show car but a 5 footer! There isn't any holes in the floors but everything is all original underneath there is no rust appearing on the body but when I repaintedthe carit wasn't taken down to bare metal. I had a shop go through it and make sure that it was safe to boot around town in the checked everything out the pitman arm could still be replaced it has some wear I didn't replace because I couldn't get one in time. The car has firestone air bags set up as front and back switches, there is an air tank in the trunk and 2 Viair compressors. The trim that has been replaced with gold I have all the original stainless and I would be willing to keep the wheels which is the only thing that visually isn't stock on the car. The car has been repainted and the is a good river quality car. The paint has some minor defects that can be seen when you're right up close, the trim is overall in decent shape but there are a couple of pieces that have some dins and wear. The car runs and drives and went through a mechanical shop at the beginning of the summer that checked all the brakes, suspension, they cleaned up a bunch of wiring and made sure that everything is safe to drive. All the lights and gauges are working. The motor runs fine but it is a high mileage small block and will blow a bit of blue smoke after it has been sitting for awhile until it warms up, the carburetor is a new Edelbrock but still isn't adjusted perfectly. The car is located 10 minutes North of the US Canada boarder around the Seattle area, I am an auto wrecker and I senta lot of parts to the US so I will be happy to help get the car imported into the US in any way I can, I have lots of contacts and transport companies that I always use. Please feel free to call me with any questions, My eBay account is my livelihood and I want to make sure that any purchaser is knows exactly what they are buying so there is no surprises. This car is a blast to bomb around in but it isn't perfect.Adam 778-773-8393 |
