It's called a rat rod, but there's nothing ratty about this build. 1942 Chevrolet Custom Pickup Truck. Curtis style radius rods help stabilize the front end. The headlights have custom brackets and are mounted on the grill at a 90 degree angle. The single cab has been channeled, while both doors have had all the glass removed. The narrowed "shorty" custom bed features a period hot rod "Moon" aluminum fuel tank, modified wheel wells and a "DTM" rear. In the front, 15-inch polished 5 spoke rims with 165/80 15 tires and Spirit of America racing rims with 29 x 12.50 R17 Hoosier radial tires in the rear. Runs, drives, and sounds great! |
