My father was building this car when he passed away. He was upgrading from original parts to newer parts in many areas so car has electronics on the dash and power windows. Engine is a 396. Most of the engine parts have been rebuilt or replaced. Engine runs beautiful but many other areas still need to be completed. Most of the wiring is there but much of it needs to be finished (such as lights, dash area, etc.) The trunk needs to be finished. Car needs very little interior work other than finishing the wiring inside the dash and in the back window as the pictures will show. There is currently a transmission leak which would need to be repaired. The fender skirts are with the car but not currently on the car. Due to the numerous changes that were in the process this car would be a great father/son weekend project for building a pleasure cruising car. Would also be a great car to finish building for a weekend hot rod or could be built into a race car. Unfortunately, we do not have the "original" parts that my dad removed so it will take some work on your end if you are looking to restore it to an "original classic". Higher end 66 Chevelle's are worth 4-5 times the asking price of this car but we understand this is a work in progress car with upgraded modern features, and have priced it accordingly. Car is currently enclosed in a 26 ft Car Hauler. There are cabinets along the back wall inside the trailer, along with a wench. For an additional $4000 you may also purchase the car hauler with the car. PLEASE DO NOT CALL WITH OFFERS TO PURCHASE THE CAR HAULER. IT NEEDS TO REMAIN WITH THE CAR UNTIL SOLD. Due to Scam Artists and otherwise illegal activities in depth offers will only be discussed over the phone after initial email contact. Buyer would be responsible for picking up the vehicle.
