Description of 1970 Chevrolet Blazer |
Solid driver but could use some work but comeswith a ton of parts. One of about 900 2wds made, so these are pretty hard to find. It has a th350 trans and a 307 motor. It comes with a great running chevy 400 small block that is complete carb to pan. I just pulled it from my wife's firebird that I'm changing back to a Pontiac motor. There was nothing wrong with it other than it's wrong for the car. Body is solid with no rust in the doors fenders or quarters. The windshield frame was fixed with sheet metal and pop rivets by the previous owner. It comes with a solid rust free windshield frame. Bed floor has 3/4 oak on top, it appears the PO did this to cover rust, the bed floor needs repair unless you keep the wood look. The dash is cut for a din radio, the truck comes with an uncut factory A/C dash. It has manual steering, manual brakes and 6 lug rims. it comes with complete factory a-arms, spindles, and 5-lug disc brakes, a 12 bolt 5-lug rear end, 4 chevy truck rally wheels with 5 lug pattern, a factory brake booster, master, proportioning valve, power steering box, power steering pump, and all brackets. It also comes with an aluminum radiator. Socomes with all partsto be a 5 lug, PS, PB, disc truck. It also has chevy 2003 Silverado front seats with integrated shoulder harnesses. The top is a single wall in good condition with no cracks in the hatch, it does have one cracked corner as pictured. The tailgate is off a blazer and is solid and fairly straight with no dents. I also have some other parts like a spare windshield, etc. The paint isn't bad the truck is just dusty from sitting, the paint also isn't great. Now that it is getting warmer I will try to get it washed and get some better pictures. The truck runs and drives today and can be test driven by appointment. All of the parts that I am including are for work that I would want to do if I kept it, but you could drive it as it is right now. The only two issues with it today are it has a battery draw, so the previous owner put in a battery cut off, I have never bothered fixing it and I just shut the battery off when not using it. Also it needs body mounts, it spent years before I bought it without a top and the body mounts crushed. the top has a large gap to the windshield frame because of this which is why the top isn't bolted up to the frame in the pictures. Please ask questions before bidding, I can send pictures or more details on anything I may have missed. |
