We keep our overhead low so we can price our cars competitively and save you money. You are looking at a very nice 1955 Chevrolet Townsman wagon. We are consigning this vehicle for its current owner. The body is very solid with no rust issues anywhere,excellent condition original trim and paint that is just a few years old and shows very well. The drivetrain consists of a GM 5.3L iron block LS engine mated to a TH400 automatic transmission all rounded out with a highway geared stock 55 rear end. The engine has roughly 84,000 miles and has a standalone painless wiring harness utilizing a GM computer for engine management with an OBDII connector inside the cabin for tuning and diagnostics. Exhaust is routed through a set of long tube headers mated to a true dual system with glasspack mufflers and turndown tailpipes that exit just in front of the rear bumper. Front suspensionhas 2" drop spindles and GM disc brake kit with dual, power master cylinder. The rear has stock suspension and drum brakes. The current owner added the following brand new items to the car to complete it and make it a safe, clean and reliable driver.
