Description of 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Camaro

Cruise night. Pro-Street. Drag car. all in one. Pristine 1969 Yenko Camaro ZL-1 California car. all original sheet metal. ZL1 features: a 504 cu-in all aluminum BBC motor built for me by Dan Harry “Harry Heads” out of Iowa. I have all receipts as well as the Dyno sheet showing 620 hp on unleaded premium fuel. MSD 6AL ignition. CVR vacuum pump to run the power brakes. Has the stock 850 Holley carb reworked by Chuck Nuytten to feed this 504 motor. Hooker headers with a 3. 5 in collectors and a set of electric dumps by Race Ready Performance. Also a custom exhaust all the way back. special starter button up front so setting the lifters is a snap. a custom fit aluminum radiator with factory goose-neck to cool everything. Custom fit power booster to clear the valve covers as well as a wind shield wiper motor. line lock for those smoky burn outs and all power running through 3000 stall converter then into a specially built Harden Gear T-400 trans. Behind the transmission you’ll find a 2500 HP Gear-vender over-drive with a Chrome Molly drive shaft with billet ends. and a drive shaft loop running into a BE rear end with 4:10 Mozer gear. axles. and brute posi unit as well as a Mozer cover to hold the power in. Holding it together are Hotchkis frame connecters as well as J bolt Lakewood traction bars and a 1 inch sway bar up front for handling. Other ZL-1 features are one off wrap around front spoiler as well as the one off emblems front and rear that were made by Chevrolet at the end of the 69 year. Everything under this car is powder coated the correct colors from front to the back. Yenko features: This car has the special NOS Yenko steering wheel (yes. look at it. it’s not the corvette wheel) inside on a tilt column as well as the Stewart Warner green line gauges and matching tac. The Hurst Duel Gate shifter and console are new NOS as well. The car also has the 140 speedo. stock seat belts plus G-Force racing belts. with a factory AM/FM radio and a new spare and all new hardware in the trunk. Outside you’ll see the Yenko strips and emblems along with Vintage Wheels with the Yenko center caps riding on BF Goodrich tires. One other thing I want to through into the deal. when I built this car I bought a complete Vintage Air unit that I didn’t install and for anybody that buys this car the complete air-condition unit will come with the car. it’s all still in the box brand new. I’ve been restoring late 60’s and early 70’s high performance cars for over 40 years. most of them Yenkos. I’ve bought a ton of parts since the middle 1970’s from Yenko Chevrolet. saving many so I could build this personal car for myself. I hate to let this car go. but it’s time for a new home. Call my cell if you have any questions 701-471-1976 and ask for Gene.
