Description of 1992 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 |
1992 Chevy Camaro Z28 in the extremely rare convertible, Purple Haze, and Z03 Heritage Edition combination. The body was completely stripped down and disassembled a few years ago and was given a professional $6,000 paint job using the original paint code plus a very small amount of HoK Kameleon, and the heritage edition stripes were hand painted on with a unique brushed aluminum effect with a "25th" logo on the driver side hood louver. Mileage on the odometer which is true to the body itself is just under 79,000 miles. It is in fantastic condition, as you can imagine considering the car has only had approximately 5,000 miles driven on it since it was painted. The convertible top is in good condition and the rear window is clear. The car was given many New Old Stock (NOS) GM parts when it was painted, including door trim, interior switches, dash and exterior emblems, etc. The leather seats are from a 1996 Camaro and are in good overall condition with no major tears or cracks. Upon completion of the body, an updated 355ci LT1 engine and T56 transmission were installed. The engine has mild port work to the intake, heads, and throttle body and it has the following performance modifications:ARP head bolts2.05/1.60 Ferrea valves232/232 .608/.608 108LSA camshaftShorty style headersGM Two-on-the-Left (2OTL) catback system (3rd generation style, very rare) The engine made 375hp on a local dyno. Flow numbers on the heads from the previous owner of the block are:.200 153/118 .300 207/167 .400 253/197 .500 275/214 .600 284/225 The rear differential is a GM 10 bolt from the 1993-2002 body style Camaro and has rear disc brakes and a brace style rear diff cover. I have tried my best to remember most of the details of my Camaro here, but as it is not a vehicle that is driven often, I am likely forgetting some things. I do have two YouTube videos of the car, the second of which is of the undercarriage which as you can see is VERY clean. Please contact me with any questions you have regarding the car; I'm happy to schedule a viewing prior to the sale and meet any shipping company you decide to use upon my receipt of certified funds after purchase.
