Description of 1967 Chevrolet Impala |
Up for sell is a 1964 Chevy Impala. It's 50 years old and needs some work. I put the same wheels and tires as "Baby"from thetelevision show Supernatural. The wheels and tires have less than 2000 miles. I had the headliner, visors, and seats redone. Notice the redstitching on the seats! The seats weredesigned to look exactly like the one in the TV show. I was able to get 25 years of history from the last owner. The vehicle has been garaged and/or in Arizona for at least that long. So, there is minimal rust. The floor boards are just fine. The trunk is in great shape as well. Minus the above mentioned items, This car iscompletely original per the last owner and appears to be on my end as well. I just not sure about the 2 barrelcarburetor. It getsgood gas and for that reason I have people at car shows wanting to trade me their 350 motor and tranny for it. However it could be because this is a number matching engine to 1967. You have a uniqueopportunity here. Issues: The front passengerdoor is hard to open from the outside. The passenger rear window gives some trouble on going up or down. You will need to replace the trunk lock, side mirror and the rear view mirror. There is a crack in the front windshield. the best advise I cangive when buying a car online is to have a mechanic come check the vehicle out for you. He will also confirm that everything I have mentioned is accurate. I will be available to field any questions. Till its sold it will continue to be my daily driver. I'm selling it because my wife hates the attention I receive in it. Gas stops always end up being 20 plus minutes because of conversations. So,I'm often running late. After winning the bid a $500 dollar nonrefundable deposit is required. I may be able to get it shipped to you cheaper because my neighborships vehicles. |
