Description of 1967 Chevrolet Impala |
This is a 1967 four door Chevy Caprice. I did not put Caprice down as the model. The eBay software does not have Caprice as a car model in 1967. Up for sale, is an all original 1967 chevy Caprice. I bought it from Southern California 2 years ago. It is entirely original besides parts you have to change like tires, brakes, etc. The Caprice was an upgrade to the Impala. It offered way more options back then. For starters it has an arm rest that will hide away! For us bigger guys...It has tilt steering without tilt you need to be a skinny fella. It has a 327 double hump motor and electronic windows. It came with a 12 bolt rear end, 4 link axel with a factory sway bar! Car guys will understand what that means.... If not let me break it down for you a little bit. 12 bolt is a much stronger rear end. Four links instead of 2 or 3 gave the car much more stability. (Supernatural trivia many don't know. The show has 8 cars that all pretty much look the exact same. However, 3 of the vehicles they use are really a Caprice model...The Caprice is much more stable at higher speeds. So, a Caprice is used for all stunts and high speed shots!) That's right. They are better hands down for safety reasons. Thank you to Garrett for that piece of Supernatural CAR GUY TRIVIA. The interior was completely redone 8 months ago. It runs great and is really quiet. After It passed emissions I got registrationhere in Phoenix, AZ. So, if you want to come for a test drive here in Phoenix I don't mind at all. If fact I really welcome you or someone you trust to come look at the vehicle prior to bidding. All you have to do is put a good body/paint job on it. Then boom the vehicle bumps up to $27,500 NADA book value. Look it up. I accept any questions! I would like to wish you good luck on bidding! May you achieve all of your dreams in 2019. For a fifty year old vehicle there should be more rust. However, It came from Southern California...there is not rust in the expected areas. The front two floor pans have little rust. However, they both hold weight just fine. Also, Only the middle part of the trunk has rust. The factory rubber mat is still in place. The interior sides in the trunk look fantastic! Understand, Im selling the vehicle locally. I reserve the right to stop the sale at any point in time for any reason I see fit. I cannot imagine that the vehicle will last the entire month. We all know these go fast. All things are possible. Put your best offer price in, you never know. Remember, I welcome anyone who wants to come check it out! Once the bid is accepted, $1,000. deposit is due within the first 24 hours. Once again this is a 1967 Chevy Caprice. Please only bid if you intend to buy. |
