This is an original L79 325HP 327 '67 El Camino, one of approximately 10 to 15 built in 1967 and the only one I have seen with factory A/C. Factory A/C system is complete with 100 percent of all components intact with the exception of the cast bracket that bolts to stock exhaust manifold. This was originally a 4 speed car, currently has a TH350 in it. The MUNCIE shifter hole in the trans tunnel has not been trimmed out. Original 12 Bolt 3:31 posi out back has the exact same build date as the L79 motor. Has headers with FLOWMASTERs, 2.5 inch system. Straight body, all original body panels except for the hood which is an excellent GM hood I bought for it. There is some rust on the floors as shown in pics. The left front is near perfect, the right front has a section with holes as shown but otherwise very good- only the immediate area with holes needs repair. There is some spray adhesive on the floors that looks like surface roughness. I will sand some of that off for a clearer definition on RF floor. The rears have a few small holes and some pitting but only small sections need repair, the rest can be blasted and minor All Metal application would make it look great again. I have excellent original GM floor sections that go with it that are way more metal than needed. Cowl tag shows original color was Ermine White with a black bench seat interior. Paint was last done appx 2000 and the Camino has paint peeled off on a spot on the center of the doors and tailgate due to previous owner Red Bull applied logo stickers to the doors and gate. The paint can be touched up and put back in good driver condition if desired. Bed floor is in good condition as shown. This Camino has zero evidence of ever being driven on a salted road.Camino needs minor work to run- carb rebuild, cooling system flush and ignition work. Motor is in good condition, low miles on rebuild. The motor turns over with ease- I removed the A/C and Alt belts and plugs and plugs are good indication of condition. Heads have screw in studs with guideplates. Getting the car running is up to the buyer, I have NO time to work on it. No other parts are included- I do not have the original Muncie trans or any 4 speed parts for it. I tried to locate the old guy that did the restoration on it but no information could be found. It is sold exactly as shown in pics.Personal inspection of this car is welcomed and suggested. This L79 Camino has been on the L79 Registry since 2010 when I bought it.More information and pics will be added soon. California Title is clear. Please note BUY IT NOW does not hold the car so you can try to talk to me about the car and make a lower offer. Please do not hit Buy It Now unless your finances are in order and you are responsible enough to complete the transaction signed up for and can arrange transportation in a timely manner. This is a super rare truck and the price to buy is $9850. I am not accepting "offers". You will never find another L79 matching number anything in this condition under $10k- with or without the factory A/C which GM did not even offer as an ordering option on L79 Chevelle or L79 Corvette in 1967.Please also note for anyone traveling a significant distance to inspect the car I will end the ad so the Camino does not get sold to another buyer during your transit here. Had that happen many years ago and did not go over well as I was the one that made a 4 hour drive and showed up 30 minutes after a '70 SS396 Chevelle was sold.Thank you.
