this is a VERY nice 1963 Corvair Monza Spyder convertible. It was recently painted in the original color of Autumn Gold. The black interior has recent carpet and front seat covers. The remainder of the interior is original, the kick panels, left door panel and armrests could stand replacing. The manual top is in good condition and operates properly. All lights, horn, fan, and instruments function except the odometer which does not work. It has a Sony am/fm stereo CD player, I also have the original am radio. The engine runs strong and has new viton push rod tube seals and new valve cover and oil pan gaskets. The engine does not leak oil! The 4 speed transmission shifts smoothly. The turbo produces some boost but appears to need decarbonizing to reach full potential. The exhaust system has been replaced and the carburetor rebuilt. The rear springs and gas tank are new. The radial tires are in near new condition. The original wire hubcaps are in good condition. There are a few very small rust holes in the drivers floorboard that appear to be treated with POR otherwise the car appears rust free. The car drives and handles well and could be driven anywhere. I have owned the car for several years and enjoy driving it but at 75 years of age it is time to thin the herd.
