For sale is a numbers matching 1973 Corvette convertible. This is the last year of the steel bumper Corvette and this one has many desirable options including power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, tilt & telescoping wheel, automatic transmission and possibly others. Hardtops outnumbered convertibles 5 to 1 for 1973 sales, with only 4,943 convertibles built. This vehicle was recently removed from a farm in NC where it has been stored for 25 years, last being driven in 1992. A new battery, spark plug wires and fuel tank were installed, along with a fresh oil change performed to get it running. The original engine runs great with no smoke or unusual noises and yard drives but the brakes are weak and will need attention before being put on the road. The frame appears to be straight and rust free and there are no signs of any accident damage. Headlights, turn signals, wipers, etc. are operational but some of the switches stick occasionally.
