Barn find 1979 Corvette, automatic with numbers matching engine. One owner it's whole life untilI purchasedit about 3 months ago. Was recently purchase with the intent to restore but I have too many projects right now and hate to see it sit. It's been sitting waiting to be saved for a long time already. Both right side calipers are frozen from sitting. I had to remove the brake pads to get it to roll. The under carriage is really clean. no rust or rot issues. Frame and floor are solid. There is a rusted spot on the driver's side door post / hinge area that needs attention. Other that that it is super clean and solid. Body looks real good, one of the tops has a crack. Frame is very clean but there is one spot on the frame where the power assist piston would mount, looks like it got torn off. easy fix, see picture. .Car is original, except for paint. Original color was white. I have the original title from when the vehicle was purchased back in 1979 in Florida. Engine is seized. I don't know if it is from sitting or is there more issues. Someone begun to work on it but didn't get far. Carburetor, water pump, master cylinder and wiper motor are missing. Center gauge cluster is also missing. Interior needs to be redone. spedo gauge appears broken and missing the cover. The car needs and should be restored. This is a very solid restoration project car. I have tried to describe this car as best as possible, Please review pictures and ask any questions prior to bidding. If you do not have at least 5 positive transactions, you offer will be cancelled. If you are loca, you are welcome to come and inspect the car. Vehicle is sold as is where is, shipping is buyers responsibility.
